Tim Buchholz, well to get to the point, Down Beat magazine named him “Best Collegiate Jazz Arranger” in 2006-2007 and “Best Collegiate Jazz Singer” in 2005-2006. Born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin,(Home of one of the countries outstanding vocal jazz programs)Tim graduated with honors from California State University at Long Beach with a Master of Music degree in jazz studies. Prior to CSULB Tim performed with the award winning vocal jazz ensemble “Gold Company” at Western Michigan University where he received his Bachelor of Music degree in jazz studies. Tim’s charts are exciting and filled with harmonic and rhythmic surprises. His musical creativity is exemplified in this chart.
